ANNUAL REPORT 2018-2019

On behalf of Commissioner KVS (HQ) New Delhi, DC KVS RO Hyderabad, Staff and Students of K. V SIDDIPET and on my own behalf I deem it to be a great privilege to extend a warm welcome to the Hon’ble Chief guest of today’s evening, Sh. D.Krishna Bhaskar IAS District Collector and Magistrate Siddipet and Chairman Vidyalaya management Committee. Hearty welcome sir, to the First Annual Day Celebration of this Vidyalaya.

I also welcome all the Officials of the District administration, respected parents, Members of the Press, learned colleagues and my dear children, to this annual gathering 2018- 2019.

I stand before you to share with you the gist of all events, activities, attempts and achievements of this Vidyalaya during the session 2018-2019.

KVS is a pace setting organization in the field of education in our country and by virtue of its demand and efforts of the Hon’ble member of Parliament and the Member of Legislative Assembly, acceptance of the MHRD Govt. Of India, and the readiness of the District Administration to provide temporary accommodation had resulted in opening a K.V at Siddipet during the fag end of the academic session 2018-19. The quality education imparted by its dedicated and highly qualified teachers with a marginal fee charged is an attraction for the Parents who believed in the system and admitted their wards in this Vidyalaya. I thank all of them for bestowing unflinching faith in us and take this opportunity to promise you that your aspirations and dreams will be certainly met.

   ADMISSIONS: -

The student strength of this Vidyalaya as on today is 260.

We made 212 fresh admissions in 2018-19 and 48 admissions so far in various classes during this academic year 2019-20. The rising strength of this Vidyalaya is highly encouraging and I thank the Parents for their patronage.

EXAMINATION: As the academic session of the Vidyalaya started very late we took special permission from KVS RO Hyderabad to conduct the session ending examination w.e.f 14.03.2019 to 21.03.2019.

INTERNAL RESULT: -

The Annual Internal result of primary classes was declared on 27th of March 2019. In the entire Primary classes (I to V) the result was 100%. KVS had abolished the celebration of Result declaration day and felicitating the high achievers to reduce unhealthy competition amongst the students.

CO- CURRICULAR ACTIVITES:

Kendriya Vidyalayas are well known for imparting the right mix of proper curricular, co- curricular and extra-curricular education for the all-round development of its students. We in this Vidyalaya are making a lot of effort to give the students ample opportunities to nurture their talents. The students are divided in to four houses, viz, SHIVAJI, TAGORE, ASHOK, RAMAN (STAR) and weekly competitions are conducted in elocution, debate, essay writing, poster making, solo song, group dance and group song etc. and also in Sports and games.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND EXPENDITURE:

Augment of technology in the field of education, emphasis on process than result, enrichment of the content and methodology of teaching are to be duly taken care of as per KVS norms by way of

(1)              Purchase of Interactive Smart Boards

(2)              Technology aided learning (TAL)

(3)              Computer aided learning (CAL).

This academic year we wish to transform from chalk and talk to CAL/TAL.

However, as the saying goes that “a quiet river does not make a good mariner”, we are yet to add a lot more to the existing infrastructure, like,

(a)            Construction of our own building in 10 acres of the site already         earmarked for the purpose by the State Government at Ensanpally.

(b)            Interactive smart Boards in the Class Rooms

(c)     Computer Lab

(d)            Junior Science lab

(e)            Activity Room for Primary Students

(f)  Library.

I take this opportunity to thank our Chairman Sh. Krishna Bhaskar IAS, District Collector and Magistrate for his love and affection and his vision to see this Vidyalaya at par with any International School in the country with regard to its Infrastructure development.

DECLARATION OF ACADEMIC RESULT

27.03.2019

KVS gives ample opportunities to all the children to take part in various academic, curricular, co- curricular and extra- curricular activities through out the year. I take this opportunity to appeal to all the Parents to view the education of their ward as a process of growth and learning and not an end in itself with marginal difference in their academic scores as fatal and abysmal performance. As a parent try to identify the interest of your ward and promote the same.

Our system of education is under a process of technology and digitally driven changes and we have to change according to the need.  Let us be part of this change and feel proud to be the game changers.

Before putting an end to this exhaustive annual report, I would like to express deeply felt gratitude to the Chief Guest Sh. Krishna Bhaskar IAS, our young and dynamic Chairman of VMC and the first person of this district for his benign and scintillating presence on this occasion.

Sir, you accepted our invitation to grace this function and we are overwhelmed by your gesture and your special attention towards the development of this Vidyalaya will be cherished forever. Your presence as the Chief Guest gave our students a taste of your credentials which will inspire them to imbibe and work towards success.

I take this opportunity to thank all the members of the District Administration, Parents, Press and all other dignitaries present here for your patient listening. I hope you all will enjoy the colourful cultural evening.

Thank you one and all.
